Sacrament of Reconciliation
Reconciliation (Confession) is every Saturday before Mass from 3:15-3:45 pm at St. Cyril & Methodius Church, October through March and St. James Church, May through September.. A Parish Reconciliation service, with individual confession, is held twice a year - Advent and Lent. Check the bulletin for the date and time of this seasonal service.
First Reconciliation (First Penance)
First Reconciliation (First Penance) is ordinarily celebrated in mid-January for children in second grade. Children must have a minimum of one year Religious Education (CCD) Faith Formation sessions. Contact the Parish Office for more information at 330-393-9766.
First Eucharist (First Communion)
Children preparing to receive First Eucharist (First Communion) must have a minimum of one year Religious Education (CCD) Faith Formation Sessions. First Eucharist is ordinarily celebrated in the beginning of May for children in second grade. Contact the Parish Office for more information at 330-393-9766.
Students preparing to be confirmed are ordinarily in the eight - ninth grades. Previous Religious Education is required. For information about the Confirmation Program, contact the Parish Office at 330-393-9766.
Couples planning a Catholic wedding should contact the Pastor at least six months to one year in advance. Please contact the Parish Office at 330-393-9766 for an appointment and to coordinate a date for your wedding. Dates are only scheduled through contact with the priest of the parish.
Sacrament of the Sick
The Sacrament of the Sick is administered to those weakened by serious illness, prior to a special operation or because of the immediate possibility of death. Please contact the Parish Office at 330-393-9766 for the Pastor.
Communion to the Sick
Those who are homebound, as well as those at a local hospital, local care facility or hospice facility are visited on a regular basis by parishioners who are specially prepared and commissioned to take Holy Communion to the sick. Please call the Parish Office at 330-393-9766 to arrange a visit.
